Future Arts, Leeds

I came across Future Arts while recruiting for a web developer. Its a creative social enterprise; normally three words that would fail to excite me. The more I read, however, about this company the more I like them. Granted it’s not perfect – for a company that exists to help its employees find work the CV I read was OK but didn’t really stand out from the other CVs on my desk; and the About our team page on their site really does miss some obvious tricks.

Those quibbles aside, Future Arts delivers professional services at a reasonable cost whilst training people. They keep people for six months, train them in a specific profession, help them find an ongoing position and then start all over again. It’s hard to think of a more virtuous circle.
